Cassy hears footsteps padding through Nans flat in the middle of the night. The next day she is packed off to stay with Goldie, her beautiful but childish mother, and her boyfriend with no explanation. Something has gone wrong and Cassy faces danger.

Cassy, a teenage girl, lives with her Nan. She knows nothing about her father, and asks no questions. Nan says its better to keep quiet.
