A devoted stay-at-home mum in suburban Limerick, Jill has always taken pride in her happy home life, but now, with a workaholic for a husband, a sulky teenage son and a daughter whose only concern is what kind of picture phone she is going to buy with her Holy Communion money, it's hardly surprising that she takes refuge in the first really surprising thing to happen to her in years - the reappearance of an old flame and with him, memories of a time in life when everything seemed possible...And then, almost as if some sixth sense has alerted her to Jill's turmoil, her old friend Linda reappears, guaranteeing to dent any remaining self-confidence that Jill possesses.
